Yael van der Wouden
Holendersko-izraelska pisarka i wykładowczyni literatury mieszkająca w Utrechcie. Jej debiutancka powieść W dobrych rękach (The Safekeep) trafiła na krótką listę Nagrody Bookera i zdobyła Women’s Prize for Fiction. Van der Wouden w swojej twórczości bada tematy winy, pamięci i pragnienia. Wykłada kreatywne pisanie i literaturę, a jej eseje publikowane były m.in. w The Best American Essays.

An interview by Agata Kasprolewicz with Yael van der Wouden about her novel „In Good Hands”. „In Good Hands” is the story of a woman named Isabel who is obsessed with her house. It is a novel about the burden of shared guilt which, as Yael van der Wouden suggests, weighs on all of us, as well as about the power of love and desire, in which ultimate hope resides.
